From a Small Shop to Liberia's Most Trusted Supplier
HMZ Group of Companies was founded in 2016 with a single, clear purpose: to make quality products accessible and affordable to every home and business in Liberia. What started as a small electronics shop on Broad Street in Monrovia has grown into one of the country’s most trusted multi-category suppliers.
We saw the challenges Liberians face every day — unreliable power, high generator fuel costs, and limited access to durable building materials. We made it our mission to provide real, lasting solutions that improve quality of life and support economic growth across the country.

HMZ Group Opens Its Doors in Monrovia
Started as a small electronics shop on Broad Street, Monrovia — selling TVs, fans, and home appliances to local families. A big dream built from a single store.
First Solar Products Introduced to Liberia
Witnessing the daily struggle of power cuts, we began importing solar panels and inverters — among the first to offer complete solar solutions at scale in the region.
Building Materials Division Launched
Added PVC ceiling panels, security doors, locks, and modern home finishing materials — giving contractors and homeowners a one-stop shop for quality building supplies.
500th Solar System Successfully Installed
Celebrated the installation of our 500th complete solar system across Liberia. Expanded our certified technician team and opened a dedicated solar installation department.
